The breed was created by crossing domestic cats with the Asian leopard cat, a small wild feline native to Asia.

The goal was to produce a cat with the beautiful coat pattern of a leopard but with a domestic temperament. In our case, mission accomplished!

Bengal cats have a muscular build and are typically medium to large in size. They have a short, dense coat that comes in various colors, including brown, silver, and snow (a pale, off-white color). The coat is adorned with unique spotted or marbled markings that give the cat its exotic appearance. Bengals often have vivid green or gold eyes, which add to their striking appearance and glow like golden orbs in the dark.

In terms of temperament, Bengal cats are generally active, energetic, and intelligent. They are known for their curiosity and playfulness, and they often enjoy interactive toys and puzzles. Bengals are also known for their love of water, and many enjoy playing with or even swimming in water. They are social cats that can form strong bonds with their human companions.

It's important to note that Bengal cats require a lot of attention and stimulation to keep them mentally and physically engaged. They thrive in environments where they have space to play and explore. Regular playtime and interactive toys are essential to prevent boredom and destructive behavior. Be warned that the breed is extremly vocal and are known to make howling sounds unlike regular domestic cats.

If you are considering getting a Bengal cat, it's important to do thorough research and find a reputable breeder. Additionally, responsible ownership includes providing proper care, regular veterinary check-ups, and a stimulating environment to ensure the well-being of the cat.
